A quick correction on your 5 p’s. It’s 7 p’s. Proper, preparation and planning, prevents piss poor performance
I made a memorial piece for my grandson. The single hardest thing I’ve ever done. Im sure the family will deeply treasure this work.
Hi. I’m 70, third generation woodworker, ‘bout 40 miles west of Toronto Canada. Love your designs. The camera work, music and your commentary are all awesome. Keep up the good work.
for the love of everything good and holy, will someone please tell me the name/artist of the song he's playing in these videos? it's so chill, but the syncopation also commands your attention. it's incredible

@@SawyerDesign you're a saint. amazing videos. I subscribed and can't wait to see more amazing woodworking content from you.
Thanks for the great content. I am curious where episode 3 is?? Anyone know?
I’m just waiting for you to tell us all about a ayahuasca retreat that you just got back from.
Which one? 😉
" random internet guy" jelly I wish I had a pano router, so guess what random internet guy, I'm jelly too!! (I just don't hate because of it, I push myself harder so I can work harder so I can maybe get one)
sup Brah, let me ask you a good question, yeah? do you worry about moister when building? I see your garage door open often, what's you take?
Depends if movement is a factor in the build. Sometimes it’s not. Sometimes relative humidity outside is about the same as inside. I do control rh in the shop to around 50% which is equal to my house, too wet for the desert clients, so I make things tighter and too dry for the coast where I’ll allow for a little more tolerance. That’s usually just for drawers. The other stuff I build to allow movement.
@@SawyerDesign thanks bro, really appreciate your time
18:23 did you mean to type "Thank you patreon memebers", or members? Didn't know if you were being funny or simple mistake?
Talk less.

"DMT Nick" I knew you were cool, but I didn't know you were /cool/
lol 🚀 oh I’ve been around the hyperspace block a time or two 😉
I prefer my woodworking seperate from my philosophy.
How do you feel about peanut butter and bananas?
Intro music is definitely Nas X call me by your name
What ?
Who?
I have never been into modern as a rule ... but this? I could look at it for hours. Need to know also, what was the music you were playing toward the end, would love to know that piece.
Your work is so amazing! You have a gifting from God! I really enjoy your comments on what you’re thinking and why it needs to be done in this manner. Not many people have both the artistic talent along with the talent to create the piece yourself. Sometimes I think you’re starting out as a Picasso not ending up a a Rembrandt mixed with a Frank Loyd Write! Thank you!
Happy Father’s Day from 2024. I’m sorry for your journey. I want you to know, and I’m sure you do, how much these videos mean to your audience. Thank you
Hey thank you! I Appreciate this. You’re actually the only one to acknowledge the day today to me. Grey area and can’t say I’ve earned that title, but thank you all the same. Means a lot.
@@SawyerDesign Anytime Nick. Keep up the good work, especially for those of us that can’t get in the shop that much. Can’t wait for your next project
Beautiful workmanship! Excellent presentation. Good cinematography. No one who claims to be a master is a master. That word needs to be applied by others and never by an individual toward himself or herself. I am 71. I learned some things from you. You also have excellent instructive skills.
Tree sprouted in 1432 and now is now a work of art
Love it clean & simple & a test of skills.
That base that base... Love it! Keep good things a comin'
Beautiful work - as always!
Love the bench. Could the 2 boards on top be cut at angles to meet flush?
I do not like the sides. The rest is beautiful. If the sides were more a part of the chest structure it might blend in better?
I felt you! 😂
I meed to skip to the end so I can see what you're working towards other than just watching you work wood....
And now you are an editor for "Fine woodworking" magazine!
And now you are an editor for "Fine Woodworking" magazine!
Nice MF Doom sticker! Rip.
I hope your taste in music never changes! You always have great music on your videos.
You got me with the FART. 😂
Can you list the song?
FLEXXONE Beats -- ‘Sigma’
Sigma Top G woodworking 😎🥶💯🔥
What 'song'? I heard not a single word.
Does having a massive (heavy) work piece help with any potential catching situations with the router? It looked like quite a challenge getting it moved around and a big potential for kickback, or whatever the router version is.
Can’t believe I watched a grown man use a saw to cut magazines. Really??😂
Sorry to tell you this , but you are slowly loosing your mind.
your bleeding all over the wood , lol do it all the time , keep up the great work brother
I really appreciate the hard work and the process you put into this table....... I understand why you'd want the "contrast" but I'm not a fan of the black. My opinion, the execution is incredible 👍👍 Take care, ~Jonny5🥁
In my opinion, this is not the pinnacle of workbenches modern or otherwise. It is beautiful and your skills are off the chart but this is a demonstration piece. A marketing tool for potential clients. It isn't a workbench. A workbench must be something that can be made quickly so one can get on with the real work. This beautiful piece is impracticle. Most woodworkers are hobbyists and have neither the skill nor the equipment to make it, but you know that. Again, it's a great piece and provides proof that you are someone that should be considered for high end commission work.
I would do the same 👍
The psychonaut furniture guy has another banger video. Sweet.
🚀
incredible workmanship, but I'm not gonna lie. I'm liking the video for the cat content
Soooo, I'm sorry I haven't been around, yourself, foureyes,Blacktail,Johnny Builds , while my usual go to's for enjoyable content and craftsmanship....dude you've been replaced by Create design. This is actual wood working pornography. He'll even show you why you're steam bends didn't work
Gorgeous!!! The desk, not you, but you’re teddy bear cute too. Really enjoyed watching the process.
Philosophical phurniture - I love it
Well Nick, I had a great belly laugh when you were trying the magazines for the first fit…… well done. Great craftsmanship as well as relevant wit, you be you & to hell with the mindless minority.
Hardwood Industries is my go-to wood source as well. I've only been getting Plywood and some Poplar for face frames as I build cabinets for my shop. I knew they had 3/4 and some 4/4 in various species, but I meant to ask them last time I was in about thicker sizes. They're always so busy I don't want to waste their time with my lowly home shop questions. Getting a tour and a bit more of the questions asked on behalf of us would be fantastic.
